Cancellation Policy

Ford-Smith Digital offers service bookings for website development, redesigns, SEO, social media strategy, AI-ready business systems, and related digital services. **Consultation Requirement** All new clients must complete a consultation before booking a service. This helps us understand the client’s goals, project needs, timeline, and overall scope. **Booking Confirmation** A project is not officially booked until the client confirms the selected service, agrees to the project terms, and pays the required deposit or booking payment. **Deposits** Website projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is due before the website is launched, transferred, or delivered. Smaller services or add-ons may require full payment upfront. **Scheduling** Project start dates are based on availability, client response time, and how quickly the client provides required materials. Delays in communication or missing content may extend the project timeline. **Client Materials** Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, logos, images, written content, website access, branding materials, and any other required project details. **Rescheduling** Consultations may be rescheduled with advance notice. Repeated missed consultations or delayed responses may result in the project being moved to a later available start date. **Cancellations** If a client cancels after work has started, the deposit may be non-refundable based on the amount of work already completed. Any completed work may be billed before files, designs, or materials are released. **Scope Changes** Requests outside the original service agreement may require an additional fee and may extend the project timeline. **Final Approval** Before launch, delivery, or transfer, the client must review and approve the completed work. Final payment must be made before the project is officially completed.
